The meeting of Irakli Kobakhidze with the PACE Monitoring Committee Members

The Head of the Parliamentary Delegation to PACE, Irakli Kobakhidze met with the PACE Monitoring Committee members to touch upon the electoral system and the judicial reforms, as well as the criminal proceedings against the persons with the political status.

The parties dwelt on the election of the Supreme Court Judges. As I. Kobakhidze commented to media, the PACE rapporteur is to develop the report on Georgia.

“The report will reflect all the aspects related to the political processes in Georgia, as well as the electoral issues and the electoral system. It will touch upon the judicial system as well. Correspondingly, we exchanged the information and positions regarding all these issues. The rapporteurs gave a positive assessment of the agreement achieved on the electoral system. We also discussed the investigations, criminal cases related to the persons with the political status and we informed the rapporteurs on all these issues”, - he noted.
