Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee 12 Sep 2019
Within the Parliamentary Oversight under the initiative of Rati Ionatamishvili and Sofo Kiladze, a Thematic Research Group on access to health care services for women with disabilities has been set up

Within the frameworks of the research by the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, interviews, meetings and hearings will be held for women with disabilities, local governments, NGOs and representatives of medical institutions in several regions, including mountainous and ethnic minority regions.

As a result of the research, a report will be compiled, which will present problems analysis and specific recommendations for different state structures.

Both the NGOs and persons with disabilities are involved in the Thematic Research Working Group. The Group will prepare the ultimate recommendations and analysis within 2 months.

The committee research is supported by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and funded by the UK Aid.
