The Chair of the Legal Issues Committee, Anri Okhanashvili held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Georgia, H.E. Mark Clayton to table the important political issues.
Georgian MP informed the guest about the future plans of the Committee in terms of the legal reforms to be implemented in Georgia.
The parties expressed commitment for further cooperation.
"Historically, since the First Republic, Great Britain has been a great supporter of our country. It strongly supports Georgia's territorial integrity and NATO integration. The UK is a strong partner of Georgia in terms of strengthening the country's democracy”, - A. Okhanashvili remarked after the meeting.
The meeting was also attended by the member of the Legal Issues Committee, Giorgi Amilakhvari.
