The Chair of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, David Songulashvili held the introductory meeting with the Chair of the European Business Association, John Braekeveldt to discuss the Committee activity.

The parties outlined certain issues and respective challenges.

As D. Songulashvili noted, the Committee will serve as the platform for the business sector to discuss the relevant problems. The EBA unifies more than 100 Georgian and European companies and strives to provide the business sector of Georgia with the conditions as in Europe.

The EBA mission covers: advocacy of the European business in Georgia, and facilitation of trade and investments between Georgia and Europe.
