The Chair of the Culture Committee, Eliso Bolkvadze held an online meeting with Aadu Must, Chairperson of the Committee on Culture of the Estonian Parliament. The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Georgia to Estonia, Archil Karaulashvili.
The meeting, which was organized by the Embassy of Georgia, focused on the relations between Georgia and Estonia in the field of culture, Estonia's experience of EU integration in the field of culture, as well as the need to strengthen the partnership between the relevant institutions of the two countries. Special emphasis was placed on sharing Estonian experience in the field of art education.
"Mr. Must is a very experienced politician. He has also been a professor at the University of Tartu. He shared his experiences in fighting with the challenges posed by the pandemic, and the innovative approaches that are paramount to save the cultural sphere amid the pandemic”, - E. Bolkvadze commented.
Later today, the Chair of the Committee held an online meeting with Silver Pramann, Director of the Youth Department of the Estonian Council for Education and Youth Affairs.
The meeting was attended by Katrin Olt, Chief Expert on Youth and Talent Policy at the Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia, Anu Reinsalu, Chief Expert of the Cooperation Department of the Education and Youth Council, and a representative of the Estonian Association of Music Schools.
"We tabled the art education issues. As you know, our Estonian friends have a lot of experience in art education reform. I would like to thank the Ambassador of Georgia to Estonia, Mr. Archil Karaulashvili, who organized this interesting meeting”, - E. Bolkvadze noted.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on close future cooperation in all the above areas.
