The NPLE “Democracy Development Agency” in cooperation with the Chair of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, Nadzaladevi Constituency N17 Single Mandate MP, Sofo Kiladze and the Chair of the Education and Culture Commission of Tbilisi City Assembly, Sea District Single Mandate MP, Tamar Taliashvili organized the project “Children for Children”, accomplished with the charity fair exhibition.
The project was supported by Tbilisi Municipality and covered the Arts Week with participation of Public Schools N8, N9, N11, N12, N48, N112, N113, N129, N138, N142, N143, N149, N154, N159, N190.
The children with special educational needs have created the works expressing their views and wishes. The event was attended by MPs and local authorities. They had the opportunity to acquire the works by the children with special educational needs and their peers.
According to S. Kiladze, the project aims at enhancement of support and tolerance between the children, encouragement of voluntarism and interest to arts. She thanked the children, state structure and every person making the idea reality.
“I would like to thank Tbilisi City Hall, Culture Office, the school children who created the excellent works. I would like to thank the School Masters, administrations, pedagogues for their contribution in this event”, - she stated.
“There are no disabilities. Such events trigger support and tolerance amongst the children from their early age and creates the interest in arts”, - T. Taliashvili stated.
The incomes of the exhibition will be transferred to the socially vulnerable children.
