Within the ambit of her official visit to Warsaw, the Chair of Foreign Relations Committee, Sophio Katsarava held meetings with US Congressmen, former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, Political Director of the Federal Office of Germany, Deputy Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the National Assembly of Turkey.
Sophio Katsarava also met with Georgian students studying and residing in Poland with the support of the state scholarship.
The main topics of the meetings were the drastic issues on the agenda of bilateral relations – successful reforms by the Georgian Government as well the grave situation in Georgia's occupied territories and security challenges thereof.
"We apply all formats available to voice our country's foreign policy priorities and security challenges. Within the Warsaw Forum, I have held meetings where these issues served as the prevailing topics for table discussions. Georgia is constantly present at the most elevated level on the international agenda and it will be so in the future”, - Sophio Katsarava commented.
