The Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Tamar Khulordava will participate in the EuroNest Bureau Sitting to be held in Kiev on October 30.
Since the 2019 EU Elections and the 9th Convocation Parliament, this will be the first Bureau Sitting to discuss the activities implemented within ten-year anniversary of the EaP as well as the future plans and objectives for the 8th Plenary Sitting to be held in Georgia.
The Assembly, on annual base develops the resolutions co-authored by European parliament and EaP Parliaments.
In 2019, the Georgian Delegation will develop the report on: “Solidarity and Approximation in Energy Sector – the way to regulation”. EuroNest PA is the Parliamentary institution of EaP policy composed of European Parliament (60 MEPs) and the Parliamentary Delegations of EaP countries (10 members from each national Parliament: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine. Belarus’s membership is temporarily pending for political ground).
The Parliamentary Delegation of Georgia is composed of 10 main and 5 reserve members. The Forum, through the Parliamentary consultations and oversight on EU integration processes, facilitates to political association between EU and EaP states and economic integration.
