The new Spirit Plant by “BOLERO & COMPANY” Ltd. and “Gruzvinprom” Ltd. is open in Gurjaani. The opening was attended by the Prime Minister, Mr. Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the Chair of the Committee, Mr. Gela Samkharauli, the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Otar Danelia and the businessmen.
As the PM stated, the agriculture is the priority of the Government as the power of the country depends on agriculture. “During the last years, we had significant progress – we have vineyard on more than 6000 ha. for the last 3 years, which shows that the village starts to strengthen. It is the result of the policy we implement. Georgian families gained more than 400 ml GEL for the last 3 years, including in Kakheti, Racha-Lechkhumi and other regions, where vinery is an increasing sphere”.
As G. Samkharauli stated, without agriculture, country cannot be further developed. “Agrarian policy started development evidenced with the sums consumed, new plants opened and number of employees increased. We have tangible results as on international so on local levels: production increased, export market enlarged, investments increased. The progress is in vinery and winemaking spheres. We will use all resources to stimulate wine export and diversify realization market”.
Demand on Georgian wine is increased encouraged under DCFTA. Georgia has a long-term wine culture, we have the greatest potential and pre-conditions to occupy one of the respectable places on the world wine market.
The „Bolero & Company“ Ltd. was established in 2012 in Cognac spirit production sphere, soon becoming the leader of the export market. Currently, the company produces wine and brandy and exports them to Russia, Ukraine and China.
