The Commission accomplished hearing of the official explanations by the representatives of Interior Ministry and Prosecutor’s Office. The Head of the Procedural Investigation Administration Department in MIA Agencies, Zviad Pkhakadze and the Head of the First Detective of Police Department, Kakhaber Siradze answered the questions.

According to Z. Pkhakadze, he received the threating texts during the sitting yesterday related to his activity in the PO and the explanations he has given to the Commission. He has already submitted the respective explanatory note to the competent agency for response. If the Commission expresses interest, he can introduce the hereof texts in camera, he stated adding that the texts are sent by Zaza Saralidze.

According to the Commission Chair, Sergi Kapanadze, the Commission took note of the statement. The questions by the Commission to Z. Pkhakadze and K. Siradze concerned: investigations to gain evidences and impediments to the process, testimonies by the witnesses, search in the houses of the participants of the murder, operative investigations and other details.

After the explanations, the Commission discussed the method of interrogation of the juveniles and agreed to make the decision at the Saturday sitting. The 3-member groups of the Commission will interrogate other witnesses on Thursday and Friday.

On Saturday, June 30 the Commission will meet NGOs and Public Defender to exchange the opinions about the Commission activity. The Commission will also discuss two recommendations by S. Kapanadze and will hear the official explanations by the investigator of the case.
