The First Deputy Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nino Goguadze met with the newly appointed Ambassador of Czech Republic, H.E. Petr Mikyska to discuss the domestic and foreign affairs of the country.
The Ambassador noted that Czech Republic supports Georgia in all the directions, including in EU and NATO integration and various projects to ensure rapid implementation of these processes in Georgia.
The parties discussed the relations between the Friendship Groups and the prospects of enhancement of the relations. The parties stressed the Czech Government supported educational projects and noted about necessity to inform the students about the educational programs offered by Czech Republic.
The parties touched upon the regional development issues, as Czech Republic implements various projects in the regions of Georgia and currently, the new projects envisage regional development.
The parties stressed also disinformation and propaganda as the challenges for both countries, and outlined the methods to effectively address these problems through cooperation.
