The Chair of the EU Integration Committee, David Songulashvili held the meeting with the Ambassador of the Netherlands, H.E. Maaike van Koldam to discuss the progress of Georgia on EU integration path, ongoing democratic reforms in the country and the productive bilateral cooperation.

The parties dwelt on the Georgia-EU cooperation agenda, the Committee activity, main directions of the Parliamentary oversight and the Committee plans.

The Ambassador gave a positive assessment to the Constitutional changes concerning the electoral system.

The parties overviewed the COVID-19 preventive effective measures undertaken by Georgia. Mme. Ambassador reaffirmed her support to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
