The Member of Parliament, OSCE PA President, Giorgi Tsereteli met with the newly elected President of the National Assembly of Austria, Wolfgang Sobotka.

The parties discussed Austrian contribution in OSCE PA activity and to the organization in general. G. Tsereteli thanked the host for constant support to OSCEPA.

The International Secretariat of OSCE is located in Vienna and the Capital of Austria hosts the OSCE PA winter session in February of every year. The parties touched upon the South Caucasus conflicts, Ukraine crisis, migration and terrorism, as well as the role of the Parliament in addressing these challenges.

G. Tsereteli held the meeting with the OSCE representative on freedom of media, Harlem Désir.

G. Tsereteli once again confirmed the support of the Assembly to Media Freedom Office. The parties discussed future cooperation directions.
