The Chair of the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee, Kakhaber Kuchava and the Committee member, Irakli Khakhubia held the meeting with the Chair of the Environmental Protection Committee of the National Congress of China, Lu Hao.

The parties discussed environmental protection and natural resource management issues between Georgia and China and agreed on further cooperation.

“China is a strategic partner for Georgia. We have recently intensified relations with China as it has the highest experience in natural resource management and environmental protection. We will exchange experiences between the two countries. At the meeting, we touched upon cooperation between the Committees. We introduced the ongoing reforms in environmental improvement in Georgia and agreed to further enhance our cooperation”, - K. Kuchava stated.
