The Chair of the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee, Mr. Kakhaber Kuchava held the meeting with the Deputy Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of Estonian Parliament, Mme. Keit Pentus-Rosimannus.

The parties discussed cooperation between Georgia and Estonia in environmental sphere. “We emphasized the greatest achievements of Estonia in environmental protection. Currently, Estonia is the number one country in the world in terms of environmental reforms and air freshness. During the last 10 years, Estonia has implemented lots of respective reforms and is the model for us. We agreed on sharing Estonian experience to be shared by us in environmental reforming”, - K. Kuchava stated.

The parties touched upon the EUAA part concerning obligations of Georgia in environmental protection terms. As K. Kuchava stated, cooperation will be developed through sharing Estonian experience for effective implementation of EUAA obligations by Georgia.
