The Chair of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, Roman Kakulia met with the US Trade Representative Delegation to discuss implementation of the World Trade Organization regulations, namely the activity of the Governmental agencies and the Parliament in regards with these regulations.
R. Kakulia introduced the harmonization of Georgian legislation after EUAA and spoke about the expected outcomes.
The Delegation asked about the impact of WTO regulations on petty and average businesses importing the production for EU and other markets.
R. Kakulia introduced the vision of the Governmental team and spoke about main directions of the economic policy.
The parties agreed on future cooperation and outlined the communication means.
