The Vice Speaker, Sergi Kapanadze within the 14th international conference “Georgia’s European Way” in Batumi held the meeting with the representative of UK International Broadcaster, famous British journalist, Nick Gowing and the Chatham House researcher, James Sherr.

The meeting was also attended by the Minority MP, Giorgi Kandelaki. The parties discussed the situation on the occupied territories, threats from Russian Federation and the steps to be made to deal with the challenges Georgia and the region encounter.

“We spoke about the context Georgia is in today – increased threats from Russia, occupation of our territories, the intentions they have regarding Georgia and the region. We also spoke about the steps to be made by Georgia and our European partners”, - S. Kapanadze stated.
