The Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Sofio Katsarava met with her Ukrainian counterpart in Verkhovna Rada, Hanna Hopko.

The meeting was attended by the members of EU Integration Committee and the Head of Ukraine-Georgia Friendship Group. The parties discussed bilateral relations and inter-Parliamentary and inter-Committee cooperation, as well as foreign political priorities of the two countries.

The parties touched upon common challenges concerning territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia and Ukraine and emphasized EaP format, current challenges, achieved progress and the Summit scheduled in November.

The parties considered support and cooperation within the Parliamentary Assemblies and spoke about implemented reforms and EU perspectives of the two countries. S. Katsarava visits Ukraine within the NATO PA Rose-Roth Seminar participated by Georgian MPs: Irakli Sesiashvili, Irakli Beraia, Beka Odisharia, Tsotne Zurabiani and Sergi Kapanadze.
