At the introductory meeting, the parties spoke about programs, held under the aegis of UNDP. UNDP representatives noted that involvement of the Committee in these projects will be as well important. Attention was attached to the action plan of the Committee for 2015-2016, jointly developed within the UNDP project “Enhancement of Parliamentary Democracy System in Georgia”.

As UNDP representatives noted, the plan is realistic as it has been developed with involvement of the Committee and civil society and hoped that the Committee will not find it difficult to implement the plan. UNDP expressed commitment to support the Committee in this process.

The parties agreed on various aspects of future cooperation and hoped that the cooperation will be successful.
