The Faction met with the Venice Commission experts and introduced their position about selection of the judges.

According to Otar Kakhidze, the Faction introduced the alternative initiative to the Venice Commission.

“We introduced our initiative envisaging higher and wider political consensus with the society around the candidates and only after consensus the decision shall be made. The Venice Commission experts will consider the context that there are the political opposition, NGOs, Bar Association and Public Defender all voting against delegation of the supreme jurisdiction to the clan”, - he noted.
