The Chair of the EU Integration Committee, David Songulashvili held the online meeting with the Chair of the European Affairs Committee of the National Council of Slovakia, Tomáš Valášek and introduced the COVID-19 situation in Georgia, the anti-crisis economic plan of the Government and the gradual annulment of the restrictions.

“Georgia has gradually annulled the restrictions related to COVID-19. At present, we are at the last stage of annulment of the restrictions. All the restaurants have been reopened and public transport has been re-launched. We open the internal tourism as of June 15 and open the borders as of July 1”, - D. Songulashvili noted.

The parties dwelt on the cooperation directions and overviewed the progress of Georgia in the EU and NATO integration term.
