The Committee recognized the authority of the newly elected MP on the basis of the mid-elections in Vani and Khoni Constituency N54 – Givi Chichinadze.

The Committee was cognizant with the final protocol of the CEC of April 28, 2018 and supported authority of G. Chichinadze.

The Committee considered the Bill on Diplomatic Service and the deriving Bills on Public Service and on Consular Fees, introduced by the Deputy Foreign Minister, Khatuna Totladze.

The Bill reflects the novelties necessary deriving from diplomatic career related practice – the 4th stage to be added to the 3-stage hierarchy of the diplomatic positions – initial diplomatic position represented by Attaché.

The administrative and technical personnel shall be dissociated and the term of the diplomatic service reserve shall be increased.
