The speech by Giorgi Tsereteli at the OSCE Ministerial

The OSCE PA President, Giorgi Tsereteli delivered the speech at the 24th sitting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna.

He spoke about OSCE values and potential and noted that the National Governments shall ensure full equipment of the organization to address the challenges in OSCE region.

He emphasized OSCE mission importance noting that Georgia realizes purpose of OSCE field missions in situ and called on the Ministerial members to restore the mission closed in Georgia.

G. Tsereteli spoke about the new approaches of conflict resolution and underlined importance of solution of Karabakh conflict and Ukraine crisis. “This conflict claimed many lives and revealed violation of fundamental human rights. OSCE shall never recognize it normal and acceptable. I hope that we, sitting around this table, will manage to express our political will and address our efforts to peace and trust-building”.
