The Lagodekhi and Kvareli Single Mandate MP, Guram Macharashvili initiated the Essay Competition on the Parliamentary Administration amongst the youth from Lagodekhi on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Georgian Parliamentarism.

The competition was purposed for the pupils and students of 15-20 years old.

The awarding ceremony was held in Lagodekhi Center attended by the local population. The I prize was granted to the pupil of the public school of the village Vardisubani, Lagodekhi Municipality, Nino Gogoladze; the II and III prizes went to the pupils of Public School N1 of Lagodekhi, Tariel Kharatishvili and Mariam Manjgaladze.

G. Macharashvili spoke about the objectives of the competition – awareness of the youth on Parliamentary administration.

The competition was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Georgian Parliamentarism.

The local business also took part in the competition and granted the monetary prizes to the winners. According to the School Directors and the attendees, such activities are important for Lagodekhi population.
