Rati Ionatamashvili: “Sharing international experience is paramount for us when speaking about the rights of the persons with disabilities”
The Deputy Chair of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, Rati Ionatamashvili and the First Deputy Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nino Goguadze met with the Westminster Foundation for Democracy representatives and discussed the rights of the persons with disabilities.
“Sharing international experience is paramount for us when speaking about the rights of the persons with disabilities, equal opportunities, their participation in political life, active or passive suffrage. The model of the Great Britain, including Scotland is very interesting. I believe that the meeting was very productive. We agreed on future cooperation to reflect these needs not only in the Governmental documents but to intensify party involvement in this direction. We will share our opinions and positions and will hold active communication”, - R. Ionatamashvili stated.
