The Thematic Inquiry Group on Labor Safety at the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee held the working meeting.

As the Deputy Chair of the Committee, Rati Ionatamishvili elucidated, the meeting was convened to inform the representatives of the state agencies, civil and private sectors about the identified risks.

“We strive to at maximal ensure labor safety and protect labor rights at the job places. We have heard the positions from the Labor Inspection Department, as well as the Municipal Inspection Office and based on the material and information heard, we will issue the recommendations to be realistic, certain and effective deriving from the best interests of the employees”, - he noted.
