The Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Maka Bochorishvili was elected as the Co-President of the EuroNest PA
The Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Maka Bochorishvili attended the EuroNest PA Bureau sitting, held online today.
At the sitting, the Head of the Delegation, M. Bochorishvili was elected as the Co-President of the EuroNest PA.
The Bureau overviewed the pandemic and political situation in the EaP countries.
The senior researcher of CEPS, Michael Emerson delivered the report on the survey “Comparative Analysis of Balkan and EaP Countries – Creating the new European Integration Opportunities for the Balkan and EaP Countries”, providing the comparisons of the EU associate states – EaP countries, Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova in EU integration process.
The Bureau discussed the steering issues of the EuroNest PA 9th annual plenary session and made the unanimous decision to dedicate the plenary session to the “post-Covid situation in the EaP Countries, Prospects of Restoration, Stability and Democratization”.
The 9th plenary session will be attended by the MEP Andrius Kubilius and Maka Bochorishvili on April 19-20 within the video-conference format.
