The Chair of the Budget and Finance Committee, Irakli Kovzanadze held the meeting with the USAID Georgia Office Director, Adam Schmidt to discuss the anti-crisis budget, the situation in the finance and banking sphere, and respective challenges.

The parties touched upon the economic parameters and the pandemic-affected sectors, as well as the methods of enhancement of the Committee capacities for Parliamentary oversight.

I. Kovzanadze thanked Mr. Schmidt for support to the budget and finance sector of the country and hoped for further cooperation with the USAID.
