The Chair of the Faction “Georgian Dream”, Mamuka Mdinaradze and the Deputy Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Dimitri Tskitishvili held the meeting with the Chair of the Social and Family Development Committee, Mr Seah Kian Peng and the Chair of the Education Committee of the Parliament of Singapore, Ms Denise Phua.

Georgian MPs thanked their Singaporean colleagues for ratifying the resolution submitted by Georgia to the UN General Assembly on Occupied Territories of Georgia.

The parties discussed the socio-economic development model of Singapore ensuring rapid and inclusive development of the country.

Singaporean MPs expressed commitment to support Georgia in reforming and share its experience in education and social policy reforming.

It was the first meeting between the Georgian and Singaporean MPs where the parties expressed their will and commitment for further cooperation between the Parliaments.
