Sofo Kiladze and Irakli Mezurnishvili met with the Head of Germany-South Caucasus Friendship Group of Bundestag, Johannes Kahrs and the Chair of the Social-Democratic Faction, Nils Schmid to discuss bilateral relations, and support of the international partners towards the occupied territories.

Georgian MPs introduced the information about the human rights situation on the occupied territories and informed about the fact of death of Georgian citizen Irakli Kvaratskhelia.

They spoke about necessity of the remedies related to effective enforcement of Otkhozoria-Tatunashvili Act. The parties touched upon investment potential of Georgia and preferences of Georgian market for German companies, promotion of Georgian production in Germany and new formats of cooperation.

The meeting was held within the visit of the Parliamentary Delegation to Germany composed of: David Matikashvili, Vano Zardiashvili and Irakli Mezurnishvili.
