Ana Buchukuri: Proper enforcement of the Code of the Rights of the Child is fundamentally important

Members of the Permanent Parliamentary Council for the Protection of Child Rights met with Gela Geladze, Head of the Resource Officer Service of Educational Institutions.
As the Chairperson of the Permanent Parliamentary Council, Ana Buchukuri, noted, the main topic of the meeting was the need to fulfill the commitments set out in the Code of the Rights of the Child, which requires a systematic, unified and sustainable approach.
"One of the priorities of the Council, of course, is violence against children and, in general, violence between children. It is now critically and fundamentally important that the Code of the Rights of the Child be properly enforced, to know what we expect from the enforcement of the Code and what we strive to achieve. We meet intensively with individual agencies and municipalities to finally achieve real, quality and efficient results together with our partner international organizations (especially UNICEF)", - A. Buchukuri stated.
