The meeting of Anri Okhanashvili with Natalia Voutova

The Chair of the Legal Issues Committee, Anri Okhanashvili held the introductory meeting with the Head of CoE Georgia Office, Natalia Voutova.

The parties discussed the Committee plans for legal reforms and future cooperation directions.

“We overviewed our plans in the judicial sphere, as well as the development of the Code of Administrative Offenses and revision of the Criminal Code. Mme. Voutova expressed her full support to the Committee. We planned the spheres of our close cooperation, including the support of the CoE to the Committee in the development of the Code of Administrative Offenses and revision of the Criminal Code. I introduced the degree of consideration of the Venice Commission recommendations in the draft we have initiated related to the selection of the Supreme Court Judges”, - A. Okhanashvili stated.
