The parties discussed cooperation between the friendship groups of the two countries' parliaments and issues of attracting additional Turkish investments in Georgia.

"Today I met a great friend of Georgia, the Ambassador of Turkey, Ms. Fatma Ceren Yazgan. I informed her of my plans for the activities we would like to carry out within the framework of the friendship group between the Georgian and Turkish Parliaments, despite the pandemic. We will be very active in this direction”, - Beka Odisharia commented after the meeting.

According to him, the first meeting of the members of the friendship group with all major Turkish investors who are in the Georgian market was planned with the Ambassador.

"Turkish investments are one of the most important components for the development of our country's economy. It is in this direction that I see great prospects because Turkey is one of the regional leaders, including in terms of its economy and at the same time, our strategic partner.
