Meeting of Charles Michel and Archil Talakvadze with Opposition MPs
The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, together with the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Archil Talakvadze, met with the opposition MPs in the Parliament of Georgia to deliberate the agreement signed between the parties and the full transfer of the political process in the Parliament, including the restoration of trust and the European agenda of Georgia.
It was noted that for the further development of the country's political system, it is important that the opposition and the ruling party actively cooperate together.
The importance of signing the document and moving the political process to the parliamentary dimension was particularly stressed during the meeting.
The parties expanded in the issues raised in the document drafted by the President of the Council of Europe and reaffirmed their commitment to mutual cooperation.
