The First Vice-Speaker, Giorgi Volski held the in-camera meeting with the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, Toivo Klaar.

The parties discussed the political developments in the country, Geneva Talks and the situation in the South Caucasus Region.

As G. Volski commented to the media after the meeting, the illegal actions against the Georgian citizens, especially the illegal judicial decision issued by the de-facto Court of Tskhinvali against the Georgian citizen have further aggravated and tensed the already complicated relations.

“Despite the links between the people residing on both sides of the dividing line, further enhancement of these links is truly important”, - he noted.
