The First Vice-Speaker, Giorgi Volski held the meeting with the Czech Ambassador, H.E. Petr Mikyska to discuss the domestic and foreign policy priorities of Georgia.

The parties overviewed the political developments in the country and the security situation in the region. The importance of peace and security in the region was emphasized as they pose threats.

“We overviewed the situation in the region and discussed the increased threats and checks and balances imposed by Russia between these two countries especially after the war. We dwelt on the plans concerning the enhanced security of Georgia”, - G. Volski stated.

The meeting was attended by Jana Gašparíková, Deputy Head of Mission of the Czech Republic to Georgia
