The First Vice-Speaker, Giorgi Volski met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Georgia, H.E. Thomas Muhlmann to discuss the current political processes in the country.

According to the Vice-Speaker, the Ambassador positively estimated the position of the state in finding it necessary to calm the situation down in the political field and establish stability as the main goal of the state policy.

The Ambassador hails the step taken by all politicians who have decided to heed the sincere advice of the European Union and the United States on acting in Georgia's interests and continuing to work in the Parliament.

"We expanded on the situation in the occupied territories and possible ways to transform this conflict. We also touched on the Geneva negotiation process. We estimated the situation that exists today in the occupied territories, including in terms of human rights”, - G. Volski remarked.
