March 15 is the Day of Georgian Artillery and on this occasion and to commemorate the heroes fallen for the independence of Georgia, the Chair of the Defense and Security Committee, Irakli Beraia and the Committee members laid the wreath on the Memorial.

I. Beraia congratulated the Georgian gunners and defense forces on this day: “I congratulate Georgian gunners and defense forces on the Day of Georgian Artillery. We also express our highest respect in commemoration of the heroes fallen for the integrity of Georgia. March 15 is a very special day in cavalry past of Georgia, when Georgian soldiers, gunners hurled back the mass invasion and attack planned by the Russian General Staff in conspiracy with the separatist formations and irregular bribed warriors, as well as the parts of the regular army of Russia. Georgian artillery plays a key role in the defense of the country and is dignified with particular courage and morale. I would like to wish success to our artillery and defense forces”.

The ceremony was attended by the Head of the State Service of Veterans Affairs, Koba Kobaladze and the military veterans.
