Irakli Kovzanadze calling on the Pension Agency for higher transparency

“The investment of the pension savings shall be ensured in a due manner. In this regard, we need to better communicate with society. At present, the value of the pension assets constitutes 1 bl. 200 ml GEL, including the accrued interests of 110 ml with 1 ml. 113 thousand members registered therein”, - the Chair of the Budget and Finance Committee, Irakli Kovzanadze stated at the meeting with the new Director of the Pension Agency, Giorgi Danelia.

As he stated, the formation of the accumulative pension system is one of the fundamental reforms in the finance sector.

“It is the instrument to facilitate the further economic growth of the country”, - he noted.

G. Danelia introduced the activity and the plans of the Agency and received the pledge by I. Kovzanadze for support in the activity of the institution.
