The Speaker, H.E. Kakha Kutchava met with the President of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives, Eliane Tillieux to discuss the importance of intensifying relations between the two countries at the parliamentary level.

The sides dwelt on Georgia's integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures and the progress made so far and future plans.

During the meeting, Georgia's tourism and economic potential and foreign investment capabilities were particularly noted.

K. Kutchava also met with the Head of the Georgian Friendship Group in the Belgian Federal Parliament to talk about the significance of deepening relations between the friendship groups.

The parties agreed upon the near-future meeting of the friendship groups.
