Meeting of Maia Bitadze with Czech Ambassador Petr Mikyska
The Chair of the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee, Maia Bitadze met with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Georgia, H.E. Petr Mikyska to discuss the prospects of further cooperation and the future directions of parliamentary cooperation in the field of environment protection.
"We informed the Ambassador on our Committee's priorities, such as green economic development and updating environmental issues in big cities. We set directions for cooperation, especially in the field of industrial accident prevention and chemicals management. We also discussed other areas of potential cooperation, especially on urban greenery and phytosanitary issues", - M. Bitadze stated after the meeting.
The Ambassador expressed his commitment for active cooperation and pledged to take care to establish more active ties with the relevant Committee of the Czech Parliament in the near future.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Ambassador of the Czech Republic Jana Gašparíková and the First Deputy Chair of the Committee Khatia Tsilosani.
