The Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Maka Botchorishvili states that the President of the European Parliament, David Sassoli, fully supports both Georgia's EU integration process and the dialogue between the political parties.

"We had a very satisfying meeting with the President of the European Parliament. He fully supports Georgia's European integration process, as well as the dialogue between the political parties. He is ready for the European Parliament to be actively involved again and to have maximum support for Georgia. The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia asked the MEP to deploy the EUMM for the forthcoming elections, which will ultimately depend on the pandemic-induced restrictions. It is gratifying that David Sasoli expressed great interest in paying a visit to Georgia. The Speaker, Kakha Kutchava has invited the President of the European Parliament to Georgia and this visit will definitely take place", - M. Botchorishvili remarked.
