The Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze held an online meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, Oleksandr Merezhko to discuss the developments in Ukraine, its Eastern border, mobilization of Russian military forces and the possible restoration of the military actions.

“We discussed the processes in Ukraine, including the rhetoric we hear from the Russian Federation, mobilization of armed forces at the Eastern border of Ukraine and Crimea, as well as the restoration of the military actions. We expressed our support to Ukraine and agreed on joint actions at the international forums to prevent this aggression. We expressed our commitment to supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine”, - N. Samkharadze stated.
