The Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze met with the Ambassador of Israel, H.E. Ran Gidor.

N. Samkharadze expressed his condolences to Israel over the recent developments.

During the meeting, the sides deliberated the development of Georgian-Jewish relations, strengthening of parliamentary relations, expansion of economic and investment relations and security cooperation.

The Chairman of the Committee informed the Ambassador about the Committee's priorities and future plans.

The parties agreed that after the Knesset convenes, the relations between the foreign committees of the legislatures of the two countries will be further deepened.

"We enjoy very good political and cultural relations with Israel, but there is still room to further develop these ties both in the economic direction, as well as in cooperation on security issues and expanding the legislative dimension”, - N. Samkharadze commented after the meeting.
