Nino Tsilosani: I am glad that the German Embassy and the Ambassador himself strongly support the development of our country

The Chair of the Agrarian Issues Committee, Nino Tsilosani held the meeting with the German Ambassador, H.E. Hubert Knirsch to discuss the bills initiated by the Committee and scheduled reforms.

“The meeting was very productive. As always, he supports the Parliament as one of the key Governmental branches and its initiatives and endeavors. Environmental protection and natural resources are set as one of the priorities for the German Embassy and the Government, however, our agriculture is in close conjunction in this regard with environmental protection and natural resources. Hence, we discussed the possibilities that we may enjoy within their program and interests. At that, the Ambassador expressed his interest concerning the land reform. We negotiated the steps that can be taken in facilitation of the reform. I introduced the initiatives we work on and discussed their offers and ways of cooperation. I am glad that we communicated on several key issues of cooperation and I am glad that the German Embassy and the Ambassador himself strongly support the development of our country”, - N. Tsilosani stated.
