Today, the Public Defender introduced the recommendations by the Ombudsman to the Chair of the Faction “Georgian Dream”, and the Chair of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee.

The package concluding 28 bills has already been approved by the Parliament with the I reading. T

he package changes the procedure and basis for obtainment of the status of the person with disability, and changes the issues concerning service provision, advocacy, elimination of discrimination and accessible environment.

The bills shall to an equal extent apply the public and private sectors.

The number of recommendations is submitted for the II reading.
