Rati Ionatamishvili: the changes introduced under the Rules of Procedure are to facilitate the implementation of the Draft developed by the Ministry of Justice and the Government

The Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee discussed the changes to the Rules of Procedure.

According to one of the initiators, Rati Ionatamishvili, the changes are conditioned with the Law adopted in spring on “Rights of the Persons with Disabilities”.

“While developing the law, we outlined the necessity of introduction of the respective changes to the Rules of Procedure as well as creating the guarantees of stricter Parliamentary oversight and control. It formulates the new procedures to facilitate the implementation of the draft developed by the Ministry of Justice and the Government”, - he noted.

The Committee approved the draft.
