Members of Parliamentary Majority Vaccinated with Sinopharm Coronavirus Vaccine

Up to fifteen members of the parliamentary majority got vaccinated with Sinopharm at N. Kipshidze Central University Clinic in the presence of the Minister of Health, Ekaterine Tikaradze who thanked the MPs for their active involvement in the vaccination process.
"We all know of the importance of successfully carried-out vaccination process to the whole world, including Georgia. Obviously, this process is unlikely without the active involvement of each member of the community. Therefore, last week and this week we have declared Mass Vaccination Week, which envisages the intensive involvement of active members of the public, including representatives of the legislature. I am sure that other MPs will also join the pioneers. Vaccination will definitely be an important component of creating a safe working environment in this process”, - E. Tikaradze noted.
According to her, representatives of various public services are intensively involved in the vaccination process - "I am confident that with our joint efforts we will be able to increase public activism and public confidence in the vaccination process. Thank you for being so actively involved in this process and helping the Ministry of Health and the country to defeat the epidemic”.
Rati Ionatamishvili, Member of the Parliamentary Majority, Deputy Chairman of the Legal Issues Committee, thanked the Ministry for making vaccination an irreversible process in Georgia - "Vaccination is our civic responsibility and obligation to the country. I would like to thank the Ministry of Health, the Government of Georgia for making vaccination an irreversible process. I am especially glad that our society is already quite motivated to get involved and participate in the vaccination process and thus jointly defeat the pandemic. I would also like to call on the representatives of the parliamentary opposition and the former MPs to get involved in the process, as unity is especially important and critical in this process”.
