The meeting of Shota Khabareli with the Initiative Group of the Sports Organizations and Schools

The meeting of Shota Khabareli with the Initiative Group of the Sports Organizations and Schools

The member of the Sports and Youth Issues Committee, Shota Khabareli held a meeting with the Initiative Group of 19 Sports Organizations and Schools to discuss the situation in the gyms and find solutions.

The Group members noted that the gyms violate the regulations, which often entails traumas for the persons. It is the result of the low qualification and even absence of qualification of the instructors and trainers.

They introduced various proposals to MP envisaging the determination of respective measures. Sh. Khabareli agreed with the Group and noted that the proper operation of the gyms facilitates the interest of the population in a healthy lifestyle.

“At the meeting, we discussed many problematic issues and revealed the necessity to establish the proper approach and regulations within the legal frame. Hence, the law shall provide the authority to open the gyms and the regulations therefor. We will also engage the Education and Science Ministry in preparation of the qualified personnel in the Sports Universities to ensure individual and proper approaches by the trainers. I believe that the engagement of the Committee in this process is important to support such initiatives and their realization”, - he added.
