The Faction “Georgian Dream – Industrials” organized the Scientific-Practical Conference
The Conference “Georgia is Europe” was initiated by the Faction “Georgian Dream – Industrials” in the movie hall of the Parliament.
The Conference aims to emphasize the ways of approximation to the European values and further steps to simplify full-fledged EU membership.
The Chair of the Faction, Simon Nozadze dwelt on the historical experience of Georgia-EU relations and stressed the EU integration challenges and opportunities.
The First Vice-Speaker, Gia Volski welcomed the attendees and spoke about the European values of Georgia, emphasizing tolerance of Georgia and Georgia-EU centuries’ relationship.
The attendees – scientists and the students introduced the reports on European aspiration, Georgia-EU security cooperation and dwelt on “Europe and Global Informational Society: Opportunities and Challenges for Georgia” and “History of Georgia in Europe”.
